About
About Roof Replacement Boise
Roof Replacement Boise is a roof replacement and repair company serving Boise and the Treasure Valley. We handle residential and commercial roofing — architectural asphalt shingle, standing-seam metal, and commercial TPO/EPDM flat roofing — along with storm damage response and insurance claim documentation.
What we build to
A roof looks simple from the street and most of what determines whether it lasts is what happens before the new material ever goes down. We do a full tear-off on every replacement — never a roof-over on a second layer — because it is the only way to actually inspect and fix deck damage underneath. We fasten to manufacturer wind-rated patterns rather than a builder-grade minimum, and we pull the reroofing permit as part of the job rather than leaving it to you. See Boise's reroofing permit requirements.
Why this climate matters
The Treasure Valley sees a real, seasonal hail corridor — Pacific moisture colliding with the terrain around the valley produces severe thunderstorm cells from May through August, peaking in June and July. Canyon County declared a disaster emergency in June 2026 for hail and flooding damage. We inspect for this kind of damage the same way regardless of whether you are filing an insurance claim. See storm & hail damage replacement.
The other half is thermal cycling: summer highs over 100°F against hard winter freezes, one of the wider annual swings in the Pacific Northwest, combined with intense high-altitude UV. That combination shortens real-world asphalt shingle life to roughly 15–25 years even on shingles rated for 20–30 — which is why so much of the valley's 1990s–2000s-built housing stock is hitting its replacement window right now. See asphalt vs. metal for this climate.
How we price
We publish cost ranges rather than making you call to find out whether you can afford us — the 2026 cost guide lays out per-square pricing by material, and the cost calculator works from your own roof size. Estimates are free and on-site, and you get a written per-square price with tear-off and any deck repair broken out as separate lines so you can compare it honestly against anyone else's bid.
If a repair is the better spend than a full replacement, we say so on the estimate visit — including when that means the smaller job for us.
What we will not do
We will not roof over a deck we have not inspected, we will not offer to waive your insurance deductible — that is fraud, not a discount, per Idaho Department of Insurance guidance — and we will not tell you a roof needs replacing when a repair would do. We also will not publish reviews we have not received or credentials we do not hold — if you do not see star ratings on this site, that is deliberate.
